MATTHEW + JOSE
Matthew + Jose are the founders of Blue Planet Development. Before founding Blue Planet Development, Matthew + Jose first operated in the multifamily space as general partners. Their collective mission is to create a holistic + community-centric real estate company.
"I am a real estate professional with experience in aquisition, management, and operations in multi-family real estate syndication, as well as single-family residential development. My goal is to build relationships with investors looking for non-active participation of property investment. I love to work hard, be organized, manage resources effectively, and communicate well."
JOSE MUNOZ
Born into the Chicago west side neighborhood of Wicker Park — Jose experienced the transformation of a community early on in his youth. It was then that the seeds were sown for developing an understanding of when and how communities change over time. He formed Blue Planet Development with Matthew in 2022 as a means to leverage his deep understanding of community building and to help positively shift the lens on property development. He now works full-time as a property operator and developer while moonlighting in venture capital and entrepreneurial projects.
